New mesh avatars! The boys from TF2.

We've started making TF2 mesh avatars! Doing the boys then we're going to make the girl versions!
$275 for both the red and blue version of them, so $275L, for example, for red & blue engineer. Here's our first one!

We only made a couple things today because it was in the 90's and we were cranky and sweaty. I'm having a marrrrvelous time (year right) with UV mapping in CS6, which I just found out that I need the extended version, so I had to download that....and now I am stuck because my patterns look like pewp. Here is what we did today, though =]

I never said where I'm making all this stuff.... I'm making it for Second Life. My goal is to become skilled enough to make stuff I would buy. That's the driving force behind this whole endeavor. There's only a handful of really great mesh clothes, and I hope to someday get on that list.

PS - I'm going to be a first time auntie next month and I am sooo excited!

But I'll start again because I miss the calm it brings me sometimes. These photos of my work was taken with a webcam so the quality is really crummy, but here you go:

Busy as a bee making my first dress....Going crazy in Blender, but hopefully everything will work out. I'm going to make a separate store for my own designs, I'll keep this blog posted.

We're doing fully rigged, 100% mesh avatars, plushie toys (for all you Bronies out there), shoulder pets, random mesh stuff, etc. And of course, clothes for the ladies =] I'm learning Blender right now, so I'll slowly but surely be building up our inventory. I'm also planning on doing mesh hair once I get my head around the Blender program, so check back often!
