My new store

Hi all. Just wanted to keep you guys up to date on my own store. I've been working very hard, trying to learn CS6 Extended, Blender 2.6 and Marvelous Designer 2. It can be a very intimidating and frustrating process, trying to learn these programs when I've never done anything with computers, other than playing games and trolling people on Second Life :P I' have a LOT of work ahead of me but I'm excited to figure things out and make some cool mesh stuffies for you guys. I was originally going to just do mesh hair since it's in such high demand, then branch out into clothes, but I've decided to reverse that process since there seem to be a lot more tutorials on clothes than on hair. I'll post a couple photos of some of the work in progress and let you guys know when my store on the marketplace goes live. I think I shall call my store Rook, but that's just the flavor of the day.

We've been busy with RL stuff, and we know we've been slacking! Tomorrow we're going to work our hinies off and make lots more, but here's what was made today =]

New mesh avatars! The boys from TF2.

We've started making TF2 mesh avatars! Doing the boys then we're going to make the girl versions!
$275 for both the red and blue version of them, so $275L, for example, for red & blue engineer. Here's our first one!

We only made a couple things today because it was in the 90's and we were cranky and sweaty. I'm having a marrrrvelous time (year right) with UV mapping in CS6, which I just found out that I need the extended version, so I had to download that....and now I am stuck because my patterns look like pewp. Here is what we did today, though =]

Derp....

I never said where I'm making all this stuff.... I'm making it for Second Life. My goal is to become skilled enough to make stuff I would buy. That's the driving force behind this whole endeavor. There's only a handful of really great mesh clothes, and I hope to someday get on that list.

PS - I'm going to be a first time auntie next month and I am sooo excited!

But I'll start again because I miss the calm it brings me sometimes. These photos of my work was taken with a webcam so the quality is really crummy, but here you go:
